So creating a blog site and being able to post to it is much more difficult than I ever thought it would be. The idea of podcasts and CLIPS are also fairly puzzling. There is so much information about them out there on the internet so picking which information is useful is becoming more difficult.
But onto critical literacy…
The ideas of using this technology to further learning is amazing because they can listen to the podcasts or read the transcript of them as means for learning. Young children can use blogs and post all sorts of information including pictures that they create themselves. It can also be very easily shared over the internet.

These blogs and podcasts are a great way to incorporate technology in the classroom, as well as provide opportunity for
cooperative learning. I never realized the advantages of using such a simple online form to relay information and really see how communicating through blogs and podcasts could help students learn in different ways. I would love to incorporate this type of technology into my classroom and hope to someday have the resources to do so.
